About WorkCrafter

WorkCrafter is one workspace for the generative AI tools most people otherwise pay for separately: text, code, images, voice, music and video, plus a video editor that runs in your browser. It exists because the alternative — six subscriptions, six libraries, six sets of terms — costs more and produces less.

How the pricing works

There is no subscription. You buy credits when you need them and spend them per generation, at published rates: 2 credits for text or code, 10 for an image or a voice-over, 15 for a music track, 50 for a video clip. Packs start at $5 for 250 credits, and every new account gets 30 free so you can try the tools before deciding.

Credits never expire and nothing auto-renews. If a generation fails you are refunded automatically — you should never pay for an error. Editing in the browser costs nothing at all, on any account. The full breakdown is on the pricing page, and the refund policy spells out what happens if you change your mind.

Your work and your data

The terms grant you the output, on free credits as well as paid ones — a free tier you cannot publish from is a demo, not a free tier. Your generations are private by default; nothing appears in the public showcase unless you choose to share it. You can download everything you have made at any time, and export your history as CSV. A tool that makes leaving difficult is telling you something.

What these tools are not good at

Being straight about this saves you credits. Image models still garble text inside an image and struggle with hands and exact counts. Video holds together for a few seconds and degrades after that, so short clips cut together beat one long take. Every model writes confidently about things it does not know, so statistics, citations, quotes and anything about your own business need checking before you publish them.

And if one modality is your craft — a full-time editor, a working musician, a professional illustrator — a specialist tool will beat a general one on depth of control. We think that is worth saying on our own About page.

Where the writing comes from

The guides on the blog are written to be used rather than to rank: real prompts, real costs, and the failure modes nobody mentions. Where a limitation exists we name it, including where a competing approach is the better answer.
